Arlon Graphics
Arlon Graphics is a worldwide manufacturer of high-quality pressure-sensitive cast vinyl, flexible substrates, and print media films for digital imaging, signage, vehicle graphic and screen printing.
Owned by FLEXcon Company, Inc. of Spencer, Massachusetts, Arlon is headquartered in Placentia, California, and has operations in North America and Europe, with distribution worldwide.
==History==
Founded in 1958 by Jim Welsh, the original products manufactured were adhesive bonded rubber, cork, foam and other flexible materials die cut into seals and gaskets for industrial applications. Welsh began production out of a small facility in Southern California. With the development of the rotary die cutter, the company found its growth in vehicle pin striping and self-adhesive tapes. This led to a plant move in 1979 to Santa Ana, CA to allow their in-house chemical compounding, color mixing, adhesive coating, and finishing processes to be all at one location. Arlon was one of the first companies to produce cad-cam vinyl for the sign industry and today is one of only a handful of companies to produce cast vinyl for the sign and vehicle fleet industry. Arlon is recognized throughout the world as a leading expert in custom color marking applications and cast vehicle wrap films.
